Have you ever thought seriously about leaving your "regular" job to write for a living? Does the thought of calling your own shots appeal to you?
I'm quite sure you'll answer "Yes!" to both of the preceding questions. I'm also sure that you're more than a bit apprehensive at the thought of cutting yourself loose from that regular Friday night paycheck.
Take it from me, a guy who has freelanced for years, it's a terrific way to make a living. It's spooky at times, but still terrific. It would be nice to have a roadmap, wouldn't it? Well, help is here.
Writing for a living is a business, so you'll need a business plan. Fortunately, Dave Trottier has done the work for you in this helpful book.—Reviewed by Ray Hoy.
