Tom Lombardo taught Middle School in a rural part of Sonoma County, a wine growing region about forty miles north of San Francisco, for six years. He left teaching to become a world traveler, and wrote his own history text about the ancient world. Lombardo believes that the modern world could use the wisdom and the sense of wonder that filled the mind of our earliest ancestors—and he strongly feels that every young person should go on as many adventures as possible!
