LAKE TAHOE, June 2007—The gigantic forest fire that threatened to engulf all of South Lake Tahoe claimed nearly 200 homes. David Fabrizio, our creative director, lost everything when his home burned to the ground. The fire also destroyed our recording studio, resulting in the loss of $25,000 or so in electronic gear, and hundreds of hours of recordings for titles in our audio production queue.
